The History:
Historically, Hobo Park (not Hobo Culvert) was a square block in Seward where homeless
[ more photos ] folks would lay around and drink wine. Hobo Park was developed and incorporated into the Nebraska Highway system.
The Haunting:
Ghosts of homeless people who were supposedly buried at this location reportedly make an appearance at Hobo's Culvert.
Observations:
We have not yet been able to determine the exact location of Hobo Park. The story is reminiscient of London Bridge, however. It sounds as though the "hobos" themselves were not buried, but rather, their "hang-out" was buried under the Nebraska Highway System.
