[ more photos ] the right. Follow this road to the big steel bridge.
History:
This is a truss bridge over the St. Mary's River in Fort Wayne. It is situated along Bostick Road. It was built in 1894 by the Canton Bridge Company and closed in April of 2004.
People have reported dead, mutilated animals in the Bostick Bridge area.
Perhaps because of the fact that there are thick forested patches on either side of the bridge, we noted a strong feeling of being watched at this location, but because it was dark outside, it was hard to prove whether or not we really were being watched, perhaps by squatters. This area in Fort Wayne is dimly lit by streetlights, which gives the location an eerie feel. Whether it is haunted or not is another question, but the location definitely feels "unsafe", especially at night.
Haunting:
Feelings of being watched. Loud knocking sounds that have no explanation as well as the bridge shaking apparently for no noticeable reason.

" I went to this bridge at about 1 am and my friends and I witnessed four ghostly people, three children and a man hanging by nooses from the iron rails of this bridge. Creepiest thing ever. We believe the mans name was Frank. "
